The Haunted Palace In The Poe' Land In the greenest of our valleys by good angels tenanted, once a fair and stately palace, radiant palace reared its head. In the monarch thought's dominion, it stood there! Never seraph spread a pinion over fabric half so fair! Banner yellow, glorious, golden, on it's roof did float and flow, this all this was in the olden time long ago. And every gentle air that dallied, in that sweet day, along the ramparts plumed and pallid, a winged odor went away wanderers in that happy valley. Through two luminous windows, saw spirits moving musically, to a lute's well tuned law. Round about a throne where, sitting Porphyrogene,in state his glory well befitting the ruler of the realm was seen. And all with pearl and ruby glowing was the fair palace door, through which came flowing, flowing, flowing and sparkling evermore, a troop of Echoes, whose tweet duty was but to sing, in voices of surpassing beauty, the wit and wisdom of their king. But evil things, in robes of sorrow, assailed the monarch's high estate. Ah! Let us mourn! For never morrow shall dawn upon him, desolate! And round about his home the glory that blushed and bloomed is but a dim-remembered story of the old time entombed. And travelers, now, within that valley, through the encrimsoned windows see vast forms that move fantastically to a discordant melody, while, like a ghastly rapid river through the pale door a hideous through rush out forever and laugh but smile No More!

The Queen Of The Valley Down there in the valley dipped into the green there was a small village and the queen They told me it's a very good place a little refuge for human race I went there a day I had some troubles 'couse to calm my restless spirit I wasn't able the queen was there near by the brook sitting on the grass reading a book. She was young but enough wise to be the guardian angel of that hidden paradise she stopped reading her little book asking to me if something I took only my soul I answer only my pain I've tried to soften it but in vane smiling to me she took my hand I've got the answer to (your demand) Here in the valley we live a simple life we don't ask too much the nature is rife we are all the same and as you have seen I am the woman I am the queen leave your vanity out of my reign and with it your troubles and all your pains you are a man and you might be king if you just get out of your weakness ring forget your name forget your desire listen to your heart to your inner fire years are passed since there I have been now I am king and she is my Queen She is my Queen And she is my Queen

The Man In The Dreamland Once upon a time I knew a dreamer he was a stranger to himself too an alien in an alien world I met a real dreamer sleeping in his cloud touching the moon with snow hands Walking around the world his eyes were so pure but people doesn't understand him He found wonderful cities he saw wonderful places everybody everything was a new dream for him He got children around and girls too making never ending journeys he was so happy on his cloud walking in the skies in never ending seas I've found that man I'm feeling my thoughts clapping in my head a man smiling to me on higher climbs in the darkest streets I've found that man smiling to me I've found my soul my friend I've found my soul my friend with you in me

Magic Stairway pt. 1 You never ever feel the sound You never ever looked around You always let me on my own You always talk without a doubt You're looking at me without a word to say and I'm asking you a minute of eternity I want to run away from you I want to go up the stair of life I wish I could realize my goal I never ever tried before magic stairway drive me up to heaven I'm running away from this static life without a sound magic stairway let me know my way I know there should be something more important than money and pride Step by step I realized the time I wasted of my life A tear for joy was on my face down the stupid ants were running all around Hey stupid men! Don't run around no more you could lie or could die saying the truth come with me on the magic stairway you will hear from up above the real sound of life!!!

To Sorrow Good Morrow pt. 1 To sorrow I bade good morrow and thought to leave her far away behind but cheerly cheerly she loves me dearly she is so constant to me and so kind I would deceive her and so leave her but ah! she is so constant and so kind Beneath dark palm trees by the river side I sat a-weeping in the whole world wide there was no one to ask me why I wept and so I kept Brimming the water-lily cups with tears cold as my fears Beneath dark palm trees by a riverside to sorrow I bade tomorrow. And I set over the light blue hills there came a noise of revelers the rills into the wide stream came of purple hue twas bacchus and his crew!

To Sorrow Good Morrow pt. 2 (instrumental)
9.
To Sorrow Good Morrow pt. 3 And as I set over the light blue hills there came a noise of revelers the rills into the wide stream came of purple hue twas bacchus and his crew The earnest trumpet spake and silver thrills from kissing cymbals made a merry din twas bacchus and his ki Young stranger I've been a ranger in search of pleasure throughout every climbe alas 'tis not for me bewitched I sure must be to lose in grieving all my maiden prime Come then sorrow sweetest sorrow like an own babe I nurse you on my breast I thought to leave you and deceive you but now of all the world I love you best...
10.
To Sorrow Good Morrow pt. 4 He did not stir his eyes from the dead leaves or one small pulse of joy he might have felt The spirit culls unfaded amaranth when wild it strays through the old garden ground of boyish days A little onward ran the very stream by wich he took his first soft poppy dream and on the very bark 'gainst wich he leant A crescent he had carved and round it spent his skill in little stars the teeming tree had swollen and greened the pious charactery but not taken out why there was not a slope up wich he had not feared the antelope and not a tree beneath whose rooty shade he had not with his tamed leopards played nor could an arrow light or javelin fly in the air where his had never been and yet he knew it not ooooooo

To Sorrow Good Morrow pt. 5 (instrumental)

The Sweetness Of The Pain pt. 1 Oh for some sunny spell to dissipate the shadows of this hell Say they are gone with the new dawning light steps forth my lady brightOh let me once more rest My soul upon that dazzling breast! Let once again these aching arms be placed, the tender gaolers of your waist! And let me feel that worm breathe here and there to spread a rapture in my very hair Oh the sweetness of the pain! Give me those lips again Enough enough, it's enough for me to dream of you! to dream of you! Enough, enough for me!
13.
The Sweetness Of The Pain pt. 2 This living hand now warm and capable of earnest grasping would if it were cold and in the icy silence of the tomb so haunt your days and chill your dreaming nights that you would wish thine own heart dry of blood so in my veins red life might stream again, and you be conscience calm'd See here it is I hold it towards you oh for some sunny spell to dissipate the shadows of this hell! Say there are gone! Say there are gone!

“La Belle Dame” is an amazing opera dedicated to the ballad written by the English poet John Keats and it will lead you through the dark labyrinths of emotional elements thanks also to a majestic and poetic lyrical approach.
